Hayman's 1820 Table Flyer 16/Sep/2006
Hayman's 1820 needed a way of obtaining brand presence in high-end 'style' bars that usually avoid any form of branding. I created this 20mm by 80mm folded matt - laminated card that fit neatly in ash trays and on tables without comprimising their wishes. Their size was ideal for customers to slip into their pockets.
Generic Version
12000 of these were printed in 2 different versions. One with a simple but classic cocktail (Classic Tom Collins) and the other with a more daring alternative (Persuasion). The flyers consisted of:
- Outside-Front: Bottle Shot and Award
- Outside-Back: Cocktail Photo, Ingredients and Method
- Inside-Front: Hayman's 1820 Details, Key Facts and History
- Inside-Back: Tasting Note and Serving Suggestions
Venue-Branded Version
In order to incentivise the Venue to use the flyers and to improve customer retention, the flyers were developed to include venue branding. This also gave the opportunity for the venues to offer the flyers as vouchers to redeem at the bar for special offers on Hayman's 1820 cocktails. 10000 of these were printed in 10 different versions.
Organic Option Awareness Leaflet 01/Sep/2006
A folded A5 leaflet aimed at raising awareness amongst bars, hotels and restaurants of the benefits of offering organic ingredients, in particular, organic drinks. 5000 of these were printed and are being distributed at various trade shows.
Xenia Empty Belly Poster 01/Aug/2006
Xenia is Switzerland's highest selling shot drink. They needed some posters designed for use in venues to gain brand awareness and encourage sales. Venues use the posters to advertise upcoming promotions, prices, and as back bar displays.

Utkins Fairtrade Organic White Rum Bottle 01/May/2005
Utkins were dissatisfied with teh labels that their label designers were producing so that asked me to have a go. I cam up with this design which they ended up using! You can find the product in some supermarkets and some on-trade venues
Luxardo Sambuca Map Flyers 01/Nov/2004
HappeningUK made Luxardo the brand leading Sambuca in the UK. There were two objectives. Firstly, the sales team needed to convince bar managers to switch to their current brand of sambuca to Luxardo. Secondly, brand presence was needed in bars to establish the brand as the leading sambuca in the customers' minds.
I created the solution in the form of a folded map flyer that stands on surfaces in each of the venues in the city. Each participating venue was given space to advertise in return for stocking Luxardo Sambuca, running a discount over the promotion period, and allowing us to put the flyers in their venue. The venue benefitted from the appearing on 2,000 flyers, the customer enjoyed plenty of cheap sambuca, and Luxardo got increased sales and brand exposure in 300 key venues across 14 cities.
